Growing Pains

Well yesterday was an event! Everything is totally fine, but Jess had what seemed like a mighty scare when the pains she was experiencing were like none she had had before. So we went off to Mount Sinai Hospital, the one we'll be having the baby at, and stuck around to find out what the heck was going on.

Turns out that, even though Jessica had been feeling other "growing pains" of stretched muscles and the like, these new pains were of a different variety of ligaments getting stretched... yet still considered growing pains.

They hooked her up to monitor the baby's heart rate for about 20-30 minutes, were very thorough with questions, great bedside manners, and after about 3 hours at the hospital... we left and everything was fine.

On another note... Jessica's birthday is today and she just found out from ET Canada (they called the house) that she and the cast of Air Farce have been nominated for a Gemini Award (our Canadian TV Awards). We don't know what category yet, but it's safe to assume it's not for best news anchor. ;-) Nice birthday present, huh? We're off to give the baby it's first taste of musical theatre tonight. And what better classic to expose her to, than Monty Python's SPAMALOT!
